Hello deal hunters!

The best gaming laptop deals of the week are here:

Comments: This is the cheapest price we’ve found Acer’s Nitro gaming laptop for with RTX 4050 graphics.

That said, it’s not the cheapest RTX 4050 gaming laptop deal at the moment. HP’s Victus 15 at just $599 is still available with very similar specs, just an AMD Ryzen CPU instead of Intel.

At the end of the day, HP’s Victus and Acer’s Nitro are a similar tier of laptop. It’s just that the HP deal is the best 4050 price we’ve ever seen - but this is still the lowest price we’ve seen the Nitro go for so far.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060

RAM: 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM

Was $1499.99

Notes: Customize laptop and choose RTX 4060.

Comments: We recently shared HP’s Omen 16 with RTX 4060 graphics for $999 - but now the larger Omen 17 is on sale for just $30 more.

Gaming laptops with bigger screens typically cost more money, so only $30 more for those who want a bigger laptop isn’t bad at all.

Although we have cheaper 4060 laptops listed right now, like Lenovo’s LOQ, HP’s Omen series is a higher quality laptop.

Comments: This is a great gaming laptop - excellent performance and specs for the price compared to other more expensive 4090 laptops.

Until yesterday they had the RTX 4080 version for under $2000, but it’s sold out now, and ~17% more money for this RTX 4090 version isn’t bad when the 4090 performs 15% faster in games than the 4080 at 4K.

Normally we get heavy diminishing returns at the with maxed out specs, but that’s not really the case with this deal - you get the extra performance you’re paying for.

The coupon codes seem to change every other day, so the price my change a little, keep an eye on the deals site for updates.

These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑

Video of the Week - Big Update = Big FPS Boost?

There’s been a lot of talk about the new version of Windows 11 24H2 lately.

Some YouTube channels like Hardware Unboxed have reported up to 30% FPS improvements in games with the update!

But that’s with desktop CPUs, does this actually work on gaming laptops? Find out 👇

Tip of the Week

Get more out of your gaming laptop with a fresh operating system install!

Over time you can lose performance simply by having an older Windows installation. Lots of junk slowly accumulates over time, and it adds up.

Before buying a new laptop, you could try a fresh installation of Windows with the latest drivers to see if that gets you a free performance boost.

Of course clean software can only do so much, if your existing hardware isn’t able to get the job done then our deals above are ready to help you out 😀
