Here are the best gaming laptop sales
Hello deal hunters!
The best gaming laptop deals of the week are here:
This Week’s Best Deals
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 185H GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X 7467 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1459.99 at Best Buy Comments: This laptop tied for first place in last year’s top 5 best laptops video. It’s the lightest 16” gaming laptop I’ve ever tested and perfect if your priority is on portability. The OLED screen looks great, the speakers sound good, build quality is solid - it’s good all round. The only exception is the soldered memory, which cannot be upgraded. I still think it’s worth it though - check out my full review if you want more details. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen this model on sale for, but it’s only about $50 higher, which is an excellent deal with the current unknowns of tariffs still lingering. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 RAM: 16GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz SSD: 1TB $2274.99 at Best Buy Comments: Want more power? This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for an RTX 5080 gaming laptop so far. We’re still yet to fully test the 5080, but others have indicated that performance isn’t far off the 4090. Yet this is cheaper than most 4090 laptops, especially now as it seems like 4090 laptops are out of production. Most stores don’t have much stock anymore, as newer RTX 50 laptops have started to replace them. |
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 RAM: 16GB DDR5 Display: 15.6” 1920 × 1080 144Hz SSD: 512 GB $949.99 at Walmart Comments: If you’re after best bang for buck right now at under $1000, Lenovo’s LOQ is the way to go. This is $50-70 higher than the all time record low price we’ve listed it for in the past, but honestly it’s still great value for RTX 4070 tier performance. The main thing to watch out for is the 7435HS CPU, which does not have integrated graphics. Basically this means that battery life will suck, but if you’re mostly using it with the charger connected it’s fine. |
These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑
Video of the Week - 5090 vs 4090
Nvidia’s new RTX 5090 laptop GPU isn’t actually that much better than the last gen 4090…
The good news is, maybe you can save money buying last gen instead 💸
Tip of the Week - Keep your gaming laptop cool!
Heat kills hardware, so this tip is important to help your laptop last as long as possible.
If your laptop has vents underneath, make sure they’re not blocked. If you can see dust, it’s time to open it up for a clean. An air purifier can help if you live in a dusty environment!
Using your laptop on a flat surface like a desk is the way to go. Avoid using it on something soft like a bed, as this blocks the fans and may result in higher temperatures.
Higher temperatures can result in thermal throttling (worse performance) and a hotter feeling machine, which is just uncomfortable during those long gaming sessions.
A cooling pad is a good way to improve airflow, but based on our testing, a cheaper basic stand gets you most of the benefits.
