This Week's Laptop Deals Are Here!
Here are the best gaming laptop sales
Hello deal hunters!
We’re in a bit of an awkward spot - just before early Black Friday deals start to become available - but we’ve still found some nice deals this week if you can’t wait.
This Week’s Best Deals
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X-6400 Display: 14.5” 2880 × 1800 120Hz OLED SSD: 512GB $1034.99 at Lenovo Comments: We last shared this deal in mid-October - but it’s dropped $65 since then with this deal. That said, this isn’t a record low price, we’ve seen it briefly hit $995 before. But this is still a decent deal if you’ve had your eye on this portable 14” gaming laptop and can’t wait for Black Friday sales. This is my personal favorite 14” option at the moment - well maybe it’s a tie with ASUS’s Zephyrus G14, depending on your priorities, but that’s not on sale at the moment. |
CPU: Intel Core i9-14900HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 RAM: 16GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz SSD: 1TB $1547.99 at Lenovo Comments: This is one of my favorite gaming laptops of 2024. It’s on the more premium side, as you can absolutely find RTX 4070 performance for less money - like Lenovo’s Legion Slim 5 for $999.99 at Microcenter. Full disclosure - this i9 model briefly touched a record low price of $1508 a couple of days ago, but as usual Lenovo like to change their coupon codes every few days. So keep an eye on the deals site for any changes - especially as we get closer to Black Friday! |
CPU: Intel Core i9-14900HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 RAM: 32GB DDR5 Display: 18 2560 × 1600 240Hz SSD: 1TB $2099.99 at Best Buy Comments: We last shared a deal on this laptop two weeks ago - but the price recently dropped an extra $50 since then, so this is a new record low! This makes it the same price as Lenovo’s Legion Pro 7i with the same specs, but this Helios is a bigger 18” model, and bigger gaming laptops usually cost more money. Of course this makes the laptop less portable, but I can’t deny, playing games on a larger screen is definitely a nicer experience. |
These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑
Video of the Week
This week we reviewed the lightest 14” gaming laptop - ASUS’s TUF A14!
It’s kind of like a cheaper Zephyrus G14 - Check it out 👇
Tip of the Week - Change Thermal Paste!
This is the stuff that sits between the CPU/GPU and the cooler.
Depending on the quality of the paste used at the factory, you may be able to improve temperatures and/or performance by repasting with a higher quality option.
I’ve demonstrated how you can do this and suggested some quality paste options in our ultimate gaming laptop upgrade guide video.
Alright, these are our favorite gaming laptop deals of the week! Did we miss something you have your eyes on 👀? Reply and let us know!
