Hello deal hunters!

Was $1099

Comments: We previously shared this deal just over a month ago - but now it’s an extra $30 off!

There was another LOQ avialable a few weeks ago for the same price with the same graphics - but it had AMD’s Ryzen 7 7435HS, which doesn’t have integrated graphics, meaning it has worse battery life. That’s not the case here.

Lenovo’s LOQ offers excellent value and is a solid mid-range RTX 4060 gaming laptop - it’s my favorite budget gaming laptop, and it’s the cheapest RTX 4060 deal we’ve currently got listed.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060

RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X-6400

Comments: We last shared this deal almost a month ago, but it was $40 more expensive. Still, this isn’t a record low price, but it’s decent if you’ve had your eye on this portable 14” gaming laptop.

This is my personal favorite 14” option at the moment - well maybe it’s a tie with ASUS’s Zephyrus G14, depending on your priorities, but that’s not on sale at the moment.

At the end of the day, it will perform similarly in games to the $300 cheaper LOQ above. You’re paying more for the increased portability and crisp OLED screen here.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080

RAM: 32GB DDR5-5200

Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz

SSD: 1TB

Was $2299.99

Comments: Basically any time an RTX 4080 gaming laptop is available at $2000 or less, it’s worth a look at.

Not to mention that Alienware models typically cost more compared to other brands, but that’s not the case with this sale.

That said, Acer’s Helios 16 with RTX 4080 graphics is still available for $160 less - but with an Intel CPU and half the RAM.

These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑

Video of the Week

This week I reviewed the ASUS TUF F16 gaming laptop!

Overall, it’s a good gaming laptop, but there’s one problem you’ve got to watch out for (spoiler, it’s the screen depending on your country) - Check it out 👇

Tip of the Week - Should You Calibrate Your Screen?

It’s possible to get the colors of your screen looking more accurate with a simple tool!

Unfortunately, this calibration tool typically costs upwards of $100 depending on its quality.

Honestly for gamers, it’s not worth it.

If you do a Google search for the panel model in your laptop you might be able to find an ICC profile that someone else has created - assuming that your laptop didn’t already come calibrated from the factory, which is usually advertised somewhere if so.

An ICC profile basically modifies the color output of the screen in software so it’s more accurate, but to create one requires a tool that sits over the screen, such as the X-Rite i1 Display Pro that I use in laptop reviews.

But if you’re a content creator on the other hand, especially one that does creation professionally, then yes the investment is well worth it. Even if your laptop came calibrated from the factory, colors drift over time, and ideally you would recalibrate every few months.
