Comments: This is the cheapest RTX 4060 gaming laptop we’ve ever listed on the deals site!

Not only that, but it’s in Lenovo’s LOQ, which is the budget gaming laptop chassis that we prefer compared to other options, such as Acer’s Nitro or HP’s Victus.

The main thing to watch out for here is that the 7435HS processor does not have integrated graphics, so battery life is going to suffer.

But with the charger connected, it’s similar to a 7735HS and modern games still perform well, as you can see in our review.

If you want more CPU power and integrated graphics though, you can get the RTX 4060 LOQ for $799 at B&H with Intel Core i5-13450HX processor, which is still one of the lower prices we’ve seen for a 4060 laptop.

Comments: This is the cheapest price we’ve ever had for Acer’s Helios Neo 16 gaming laptop with 14th gen i9 processor!

Yeah, it’s still got RTX 4060 graphics, and with the right deal you can get an RTX 4070 gaming laptop for this price or less - and the 4070 performs about 20% better in games.

But Acer’s Helios Neo 16 is a more premium option than those cheaper 4070 laptops, which is why it tends to cost more - That’s not the case with this sale.

For context, I’d say this model competes against the likes of Lenovo’s Legion 5, which is why I compared those in a dedicated video.

These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑

Video of the Week - Best Gaming Laptops of 2024?

Alright so we took a bit of a break from making videos this week - but not to worry!

This week’s video is from July and I go through the top 5 best gaming laptops of the year so far.

I’m working on a newer updated version ready for the Black Friday sales period. It won’t be ready for about 3 weeks, but there won’t actually be much change compared to this mid-year update video - Check it out if you need ideas on picking a gaming laptop 👇

Tip of the Week - How Much SSD Space is Enough?

This comes down to personal preference and how you use your laptop, but I think at least 512GB is the minimum these days, with 1TB of storage being preferable.

512GB is enough for Windows and a few games and apps, while 1TB gives you more freedom so you don’t have to remove stuff you might need later.

Fortunately most gaming laptops have a second empty M.2 storage slot, so you can easily add in a 2TB, 4TB, or potentially even an 8TB SSD in the future - budget permitting of course!

Just check the spec sheet to see how many M.2 storage slots the laptop you’re considering buying has. Sometimes this may not be listed, in that case check out our laptop reviews as I point out all of the upgrade options.
