Here are the best gaming laptop sales
Hello deal hunters!
The best gaming laptop deals of the week are here:
This Week’s Best Deals
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4050 RAM: 12GB DDR5-4800 Display: 15.6” 1920 × 1080 144Hz SSD: 512GB $549.99 at Best Buy Comments: This is the lowest price we’ve ever listed Lenovo’s LOQ with RTX 4050 graphics for. It’s a great budget friendly gaming laptop, and for 1080p gaming the 4050 graphics still deliver a good experience at medium to high settings. We actually compared the 4050 against the newer 5050 a couple of weeks ago using a LOQ if you want to get a rough idea of the performance to expect in games. |
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 250 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 RAM: 16GB DDR5-5600 Display: 15.6” 1920 × 1080 144Hz SSD: 1TB $799.99 at Lenovo Comments: This is the cheapest RTX 5060 gaming laptop deal we’ve listed so far by well over $100! We’ve reviewed the LOQ with 5060 graphics, but we had the Intel version, so expect some differences due to the processor change. But long story short, it’s a great budget gaming laptop. This deal offers excellent price to performance value. You could also get this for $749.99 if you instead select the 6 core Ryzen 5 220 processor when customizing, but we feel the extra $50 for the 8 core Ryzen 7 250 is worth it for a laptop you’ll use for years. Your call though! |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti RAM: 32GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 165Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1752.74 at Lenovo Comments: The Legion Pro 5i is an excellent all-round gaming laptop, and this price is over $150 below the previous record low we’ve listed it for in the past. The RTX 5070 Ti graphics provide excellent performance in games and the 12GB VRAM offers better longevity compared to lower tier laptop GPUs. We compared the Pro 5i with 5070 Ti against the cheaper 5070 model in our review if you’d like to see the difference. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti RAM: 32GB DDR5-6400 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1599.99 at Best Buy Comments: The Helios may not be quite as powerful as the more expensive Legion Pro 5i above, but it still offers excellent performance in a thinner, more portable package. Full disclosure, we’ve shared this same deal about a month ago, but this is still the best price for it so far. Need more details? Check out our review here. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti RAM: 32GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 165Hz SSD: 1TB $1559.99 at HP Comments: Another great RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop at a great price! This one doesn’t have an OLED panel like the Helios and Legion, but it’s a little cheaper too - still a nice laptop overall, if a bit on the warmer side - full details in our review. You could also get this for $1499.99, but that’s with the 1920 × 1200 screen option, which we don’t think is a worthy pairing for the RTX 5070 Ti. But if you plan on connecting a monitor and don’t care so much about the laptop screen, that’s a great option to save some money. |

Video of the Week
Is it worth spending more money on for RTX 5060 graphics in your next gaming laptop? Or will the cheaper RTX 5050 get the job done? I’ve compared both in 25 games to find out 👇
Tip of the Week - How much SSD space is enough?
This comes down to personal preference and how you use your laptop, but I think at least 512GB is the bare minimum these days, with 1TB of storage being preferable.
512GB is enough for Windows and a few games and apps, while 1TB gives you more freedom so you don’t have to remove stuff you might need later.
Fortunately most gaming laptops have a second empty M.2 storage slot, so you can easily add in a 2TB, 4TB, or potentially even an 8TB SSD in the future - budget permitting of course!
Just check the spec sheet to see how many M.2 storage slots the laptop you’re considering buying has. Sometimes this may not be listed, in that case check out our laptop reviews as I point out all of the upgrade options, as well as whether or not the slot can fit higher capacity drives with chips on both sides.
