This Week's Laptop Deals Are Here!
Here are the best gaming laptop sales
Hello deal hunters,
We’re seeing more record low sales on the lead up to Black Friday next week!
This Week’s Best Deals
CPU: Intel Core i5-13450HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5050 8GB RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800 Display: 15.6” 1920 × 1080 144Hz SSD: 512GB $649.99 at Best Buy Comments: Lenovo’s LOQ is a great budget gaming laptop, and at this price it’s also one of the cheapest RTX 5050 laptop deals we’ve found so far. Normally for $650 you’re looking at last gen 4050 laptops, which have 6GB VRAM compared to the 8GB with the 5050. This gives the newer 5050 better longevity in newer games. Plus I found the 5050 to perform 18% faster in games compared to the 4050 in a 25 game comparison. So this is easily the best choice over any other 4050 options right now. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a bigger screen, Lenovo’s larger 17” model of the LOQ is also on a record low sale at B&H for $699. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285H GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 12GB RAM: 32GB LPDDR5X-7467 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $2199.99 at Best Buy Comments: This is my personal gaming laptop at the moment that I bought with my own money, and this new record low price is $100 lower than last time. The Zephyrus is one of the more expensive 5070 Ti gaming laptops out there, you’re paying for a premium feeling design and decent performance, all in the thinnest and lightest 16” gaming laptop we’ve tested. But I value portability, so it was worth it, and I think it’s a great laptop to travel with for my video editing. The main downside to be aware of is you can’t upgrade the RAM, but 32GB should be plenty for most gamers for years to come. Get all the details in our full review. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 12GB RAM: 16GB DDR5-6400 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz display SSD: 1TB $1699 at B&H Comments: If you want more power for less money compared to the Zephyrus above, Acer’s Helios 16 will get you there. Note that this is not the “S” version, so it’s a bit thicker and doesn’t have an OLED screen, but it lets the 5070 Ti run up to the full 140 watt power limit, which means more FPS in games. Technically, this is a record low price, we just don’t like listing it as such until we’ve seen it go on sale a few times so we can discover the average sale price. |
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB RAM: 32GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 OLED 240Hz SSD: 1TB $2427.24 at Lenovo Comments: This is a solid all-round gaming laptop. In my recent “top 5 best gaming laptops of 2025”, found below, I put the Legion Pro 7i first. This is the AMD version, with 3D V-Cache processor. This is why it’s around $100 more expensive compared to the lowest price we’ve seen on the Intel model. But honestly, that’s only 4% more money - and it’s worth it. In my 29 game comparison, the 9955HX3D was 8% faster than Intel’s 275HX at 1440p, or 16% faster if you want to drop down to 1080p - definitely worth it if you’re after max performance. Unless you need battery life, in that case Intel is the better choice. The Intel model is currently on sale at B&H for $2349 - just $20 higher than the all time record low. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB RAM: 32GB DDR5-6400 Display: 18” 2560 × 1600 300Hz SSD: 2TB $2799.99 at Dell Comments: If you’d prefer the 5080 in a larger 18” gaming laptop, this is the deal for you! I recently compared the 7 best 18” gaming laptops from each brand, and this Alienware laptop came in second place. Not only does it offer excellent performance, but it’s priced extremely well for an 18” machine. It gets a strong recommendation for us if you’re after a bigger screen. Tip of the Week - Don’t Fall Into the Waiting Trap!
“I’ll just wait for the next new thing” is a trap I’ve found myself in multiple times.
There will ALWAYS be new hardware coming, that’s just how tech works, progress marches on.
If you fall into this trap you’ll wait for something new to release, then instead of enjoying new games you might end up waiting for the next new thing to release, then the next, and so on.
But while waiting for some future promise of better performance, you’re missing out on actually having a new gaming laptop you can use today and enjoy now.
Sure, if there are rumors of some important next gen GPU coming in a few months, it can be worth waiting to see what happens. These sorts of announcements typically happen in January at CES.
But so far, all news indicates that 2026 will be fairly boring in terms of new hardware for gaming laptops, which I’ve covered in more depth here.
🔥Hot Tip: Many retailers have extended holiday returns. You can pick up a gaming laptop on sale during Black Friday and return it in January after the CES news (January 6th-9th 2026) if there’s news of something you’d prefer instead.
Alright, these are our favorite gaming laptop deals of the week! Did we miss something you have your eyes on 👀? Reply and let us know!
