This Week's Laptop Deals Are Here!
Here are the best gaming laptop sales
Hello deal hunters!
Sales are starting to ramp up as we get closer to Black Friday - here are the best deals of the week
This Week’s Best Deals
CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 8GB RAM: 32GB DDR5 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 165Hz SSD: 1TB $1049.99 at Best Buy Comments: Great price on a decent mid-range gaming laptop. It’s lightweight, runs cooler and quieter than most and has excellent battery life. I recently compared 6 budget 5060 laptops (see video of the week below), and in that example I used Gigabyte’s lower tier A16 laptop - which had the same $1050 price! This higher tier Aero model for the same price is absolutely worth it. Alternatively, the higher tier model with RTX 5070 graphics is also on sale for $200 more. That’s 19% more money for 16% more FPS at 1080p & 1440p, not too bad if you’re after more performance. Get all the details in our full review. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 12GB RAM: 32GB DDR5-6400 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1599.99 at Best Buy Comments: This is just a great price on a good gaming laptop with RTX 5070 Ti graphics. That means you get 12GB VRAM compared to the lower tier 5070 and below, which is going to be a great sweet spot over the next few years in newer games. Full disclosure, this same sale happened a month ago, so it’s not the first time we’ve seen this record low, but it’s still a great sale! Alternatively, the RTX 5060 version is also on sale for $1199.99, which is decent for a higher quality 5060 laptop. Get all the details in our full review. |
CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 8GB RAM: 32GB LPDDR5X-8000 Display: 14” 2880 × 1800 120Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1799.99 at Best Buy Comments: I never thought we’d see a Razer deal worth sharing, but here we are. The Blade is an extremely well built and portable little laptop, milled from a solid block of aluminum - so it has the most premium build quality of any gaming laptop we’ve tested. Now it does cost more than the Helios above, but that’s just the way it goes with these smaller 14 inch options. It’s worth keeping in mind that it maxes out with RTX 5070 graphics, so the 8 gigs of VRAM may be a limit in more games as time goes on. But if gaming isn’t your priority, or you’re fine with potentially running at a lower resolution, lower settings, or with lower upscaling settings, this is a great price for a 14” gaming laptop. CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB RAM: 16GB DDR5-5600 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz SSD: 1TB $1899.99 at MSI Comments: This is one of the cheapest RTX 5080 laptops we’ve ever seen. Yeah, 16 gigs of RAM is a bit low (refer to tip of the week below), but I can look past it for the price of the 5080 graphics. You can always upgrade the RAM, so it’s more important to buy with the other components in mind first. Get all the details in our full review. |
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5090 24GB RAM: 32GB DDR5-6400 Display: 18” 2560 × 1600 300Hz SSD: 2TB $3599.99 at Dell Comments: I’m currently working on a “best 18 inch gaming laptop” video for tomorrow where I compare 7 models from all brands - but spoiler, this laptop comes in second place. Not only does it offer excellent performance, but it’s priced extremely well for an 18” machine. It gets a strong recommendation for us if you’re after a bigger, maxed out laptop. Video of the Week - The Best Budget RTX 5060 Gaming Laptops
If you’ve got around $1000-1100 or so USD to spend, this is the one for you!
I’ve compared 6 gaming laptops with RTX 5060 and ranked them from best to worst.
Tip of the Week - How Much RAM is Enough?
16 gigs of RAM has been a strong sweet spot for as long as I’ve been reviewing gaming laptops - over 10 years now!
And look, it’s still enough for modern games.
But personally, if I was buying today with the future in mind, I’d either consider a laptop that comes with 32GB, or I would want to know that the laptop I’m looking at can be upgraded later.
Alright, these are our favorite gaming laptop deals of the week! Did we miss something you have your eyes on 👀? Reply and let us know!
