Comments: We’ve actually had this great deal listed for a while, but I think it’s becoming even more attractive - let me explain.

Based on my recent RTX 5090 laptop review, it wasn’t much better than the 4090 in games. The differences in specs between the 4070 in this laptop and newer 5070 are even smaller, yet 5070 laptops are significantly more expensive.

A number of higher tier 4080 and 4090 laptop deals we used to list have sold out. We know Nvidia has stopped production of RTX 40 desktop GPUs. I’m not sure if this also applies to laptop GPUs, but if so then there might only be a limited availability of these good RTX 40 deals left.

The main downside with this model is the 7435HS processor, which does not have integrated graphics. This means battery life will suck, so it’s only worth considering if you will mostly use the laptop with the charger connected.

Comments: Another RTX 4070 gaming laptop for a great price - any time they drop below $1000 is great. This just offers an excellent FPS per dollar ratio.

Although I think the LOQ above is a better laptop overall, the Victus has a better processor as it’s got integrated graphics built in - so battery life will be much better with the Victus.

Not only that, but this processor is based on AMD’s newer Zen 4 architecture, whereas the LOQ is Zen 3, so single and multi core performance from the processor should be better too.

I think these differences would be enough for me to preference the Victus over the LOQ above, in spite of the LOQ being a better built overall laptop in my opinion.

CPU: Intel Core i9-14900HX

Comments: This is just a great price for RTX 5080 gaming performance.

Like I said above with the LOQ, the new RTX 50 gaming laptops don’t perform that much better than the 40 series, yet most 50 series laptops cost a lot more as they only just launched.

It’s hard to say how much longer the RTX 40 series will be available at good prices - some models like the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i are already out of stock and unlisted in favor of their newer RTX 50 versions.

This is the lowest cost RTX 4080 deal we’ve got listed at the moment. If you don’t need the extra 4GB of VRAM with the 5080 or DLSS Multi Frame Generation, a 4080 is going to give you plenty of power for less money.

These are some nice deals - but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑

Tip of the Week - Upgrade Warning!

Make sure you unplug your laptop’s battery before performing any upgrades.

Sounds simple, right? Well, I admit it’s not something I usually bother with - changing a RAM stick or inserting a new SSD is a quick task.

But all it takes is a dropped screw on the wrong place of the motherboard for the whole thing to short out and die 💀

So don’t live dangerously, just unplug the battery.
