Comments: The Legion 5 is one of my favorite mid-range gaming laptops, and this is the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the RTX 5070 model.

It’s not quite a 14” laptop, but at 15.1” it’s noticeably more portable compared to 16” options. The AMD processor offers great battery life and the OLED screen looks great.

Comments: This is one of my favorite gaming laptops of 2025, but I prefer a slimmer, more portable design.

The all metal chassis and OLED screen look great, the main downside is the Legion 7i maxes out with RTX 5070 graphics, and 8 gigs of VRAM may not be enough for future games.

But if gaming is less of a priority, this is a solid all-round laptop - and the lowest price we’ve seen it go for so far.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

Comments: We’ve shared this deal a few times, and full disclosure, this laptop has been available at this record low price many times - but it’s been out of stock for the last few weeks, and now it’s back!

This is the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop we’ve ever seen, and the 12 gigs of VRAM will be useful for running modern games at higher setting levels going forward.

Unfortunately the Ryzen HX processor results in poor battery life, and the fans can run loud. But if you’re gaming with the charger connected and headphones on, the value of this deal is seriously hard to beat.

Comments: I recently made a top 5 best gaming laptops of 2025 video, and this came in at first place.

The Legion Pro 7i is just a solid all-round gaming laptop with excellent performance, and this is the lowest price we’ve seen on the 5080 version so far.

CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti 12GB

RAM: 32GB LPDDR5X-8000

Comments: I recently compared all 14” gaming laptops of 2025 together, and long story short, the Zephyrus G14 won by a lot.

This is an extremely portable laptop that has a solid feeling build and great battery life.

The 5070 Ti is a great match up for the high resolution screen, and the 12 gigs of VRAM ensures the laptop will get better longevity in games compared to the 5070 and below.

Alternatively, if you’re after the bigger 16” Zephyrus G16 with 5080, it’s only $20 above its all-time record low price at $2899.99 at Best Buy.

Video of the Week - The Best Gaming Laptops Coming in 2026

Here’s what gaming laptops are coming out this year 👇

Tip of the Week - Are 2026 Gaming Laptops Worth It?

Right now, honestly, no.

Now is a great time to buy “last gen” 2025 stock, which is why we’ve got so many record low deals above.

Nvidia doesn’t have next gen GPUs this year, so RTX 50 series GPUs from last year are all we’ll see in 2026.

Plus most of the higher end 2026 models won’t launch for a few months until the higher end HX processor refreshes launch.

Unless you’re after a more portable option with Intel’s Panther Lake, which based on the price trends we’ve seen over the years likely won’t have good sales until around June-July, the current deals are worth considering in light of the RAM/SSD price increase crisis.
