Comments: This is a record low price for this gaming laptop! It just dropped another $20 - But full disclosure, we also saw this same price during the Prime Day sales - so it’s not new, but it’s still excellent value.

That’s because the RX 7700S performs close to NVIDIA’s RTX 4060 graphics. In games that favor AMD’s Radeon graphics, like Red Dead Redemption 2, the 7700S competes with the higher tier RTX 4070.

Considering the cheapest RTX 4070 deal we’ve ever shared was $879 and most RTX 4060 laptops cost more than this, it’s safe to say this deal offers great value as far as price to performance ratio is concerned.

Comments: Speaking of record low prices, HP’s Omen 16 has joined the club!

We first saw this record low price a couple of days ago, but every few hours since it’s gone up a little and come back down.

I’m not sure what HP are trying to do there, but as of right now this price is still available.

This isn’t particularly cheap for an RTX 4060 gaming laptop, but the Omen is also a higher tier model with nicer features compared to cheaper options, like HP’s lower tier Victus for example.

If you just want the all time cheapest RTX 4060, then that would be Lenovo’s LOQ for $699. Just be aware that has the 7435HS processor with no integrated graphics, so battery life sucks.

But you can also customize the Omen. Upgrading to RTX 4070 graphics is $1029, which is also a record low price for this model with that GPU. The 4080 is also on the lower side, and only $30 above its previous record low.

Its price dropped $50 since my last email, making it the lowest RTX 4080 gaming laptop deal that we’ve currently got listed.

The CPU, GPU, RAM, Screen and SSD specs are all the same as Lenovo’s more expensive Legion Pro 7i at $1999.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the Legion is a better gaming laptop overall - but at the end of the day both laptops will perform very similarly in games with this hardware.

So you could absolutely save $200 with MSI’s Vector instead.

Comments: Unfortunately this one is not a record low price. The lowest we’ve ever seen this one was for $100 less at $1099.

The reason I’m sharing it is because many of you have told me you’ve been picking it up open box for not much below this, so in that case this is now a decent option if you want brand new instead.

This is an excellent gaming laptop if your priority is on portability. The OLED screen looks great, the speakers are the best I’ve heard from any gaming laptop, build quality is good, and it’s small and light.
