Comments: This is just a great gaming laptop at a good price. It tied for first place in my recent top 5 best gaming laptops of 2024 video.

Full disclosure, we have previously listed this laptop at $1470 - so $30 cheaper. But it’s still a great price, despite it not being an all time record low.

The Legion 7i is on the more portable side, offers nice build quality, features & performance. Plus this is the white version, which usually costs a bit extra compared to the black finish.

Comments: Just like the Legion above, this deal is still $30 higher than the record low price.

But we still think it’s a great price for RTX 4070 graphics!

The 4070 is 20% faster in games compared to the 4060, and there are plenty of 4060 gaming laptops selling for this price, if not more - granted they are typically higher end models.

But the fact remains, this deal offers excellent value in terms of price to performance ratio.

Comments: Ok we’ve finally got a record low price for you with this deal! Well, to be fair, we first saw this deal 3-4 weeks ago, but it’s back if you missed it.

This Helios costs the same as Lenovo’s Legion Pro 7i, which also has the same CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD & screen resolution + refresh rate. Both are premium gaming laptops, but this Helios has a larger 18” screen.

Gaming on a bigger screen just looks objectively better. Of course the tradeoff is a bigger laptop, which reduces portability.

Bigger laptops usually cost more money though, so the fact that this is available for the same price as the Legion with similar specs is good to see.

Comments: If you’re after a cheaper RTX 4080 gaming laptop, this might be the deal for you.

This is the lowest 4080 option we’ve currently got listed, but as usual, full disclosure, it was $50 less a few hours ago. For some reason HP have been changing the price up and down this much every few hours or so, so keep an eye on it.

The only downside we can see is the screen is only 300 nits bright. That’s what we consider to be the bare minimmum. It’s alright for indoor use, but brighter is better, though also often more expensive too.
