We’ve got a Friday update with a new record low price on the Zephyrus G16 that’s too good not to share!
New Gaming Laptop Deals
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 185H GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X-6400 Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 240Hz OLED SSD: 1TB $1399.99 at Best Buy Comments: Ok, this is a crazy price for this gaming laptop! We included it in this week’s weekly deal email, as it reached a record low price of $1499 just 5 days ago. But they’ve alreay dropped it by another $100 going into the weekend! Best Buy usually does their big weekly deal updates on Monday, with smaller updates for the weekend on Friday. Based on that, I suspect this deal may only last for the weekend. I could be wrong though, as Intel’s next gen Lunar Lake processors are set to be announced in early September at IFA in Germany. If ASUS plan on refreshing the G16 with these new processors, it would make sense for Best Buy to want to move these laptops to make room for new stock - which means good deals like this! |

The main downside is the 16GB of soldered RAM, unless you spend more for the RTX 4080 version, which has an average sale currently.
The new AMD version that just launched is available with 32GB, but costs more. We are working on a video about that at the moment, but the Intel version actually has slightly better battery life, and only slightly lower CPU performance.
